Located at 321 Main St., the Sanford Clinic Sanborn opened in July of 1992.  The Sanborn Clinic is part of Northwest Iowa Health Center in nearby Sheldon, which helps ensure that it meets the needs of the community.  Northwest Iowa Health Center is a member of Sanford Hospitals and Health System based in Sioux Falls, SD.  There also are Sanford Family Practice in Sheldon and nearby Hartley.

The Sanborn Clinic offers a wide variety of services for its patients, including:

• General family practice
• Obstetrics
• Well child and baby care
• Fractures
• Injuries
• Pre-operative and comprehensive physicals for department of Transportation, sports, and nursing home
• Drug screenings
• Immunizations
• Hearing tests
• Internal medicine

Patients also have access to many different kinds of medical tests, including blood work, pregnancy, mammograms, EKGs and ultrasounds.

For emergencies, a staff person is on call 24 hours a day for service at the hospital in Sheldon. Eleven physicians serve Northwest Iowa Health Center.

Jackie Freese, P.A.-C., a Physicians Assistant, began serving the Sanborn Clinic in 2006.  The Sanborn Clinic also employs two full-time staff.
